Oud
Little-known and little-used in the West until the beginning of the 2000s, oud has become a key ingredient in the perfumer’s range of ingredients. Its instantly recognisable woody and smoked accords are so unique that a new olfactory family has been created. Its introduction in Western perfumery is the start of a new olfactory chapter in which its bewitching amber and leathery scents combine boldly with fruity, floral, aromatic and even gourmand notes.
